CalaTica is a family business company run by women that was born in 2009, due to the interest in diversifying the products of the zone and with the objective of entering the flower market.

Initially the company, in an artisan way, provided to the local buyers, later the market was expanded to storage centers in charge of supplying different businesses both inside and outside the metropolitan area.

Currently our company dedicates 1 hectare of the land to the seeding of calla lilies (Zantedeschia aethiopica), due to the strategic location, nearby the protected area of the Irazú Volcano National Park, atmospheric conditions, and high standards of quality, we supply almost the entire national market. Our short-term plans visualize international marketing.

Mission: CalaTica is a Costa Rican family company located in the foothills of the Irazú Volcano, committed to the conservation of the forest and protection of the environment. Dedicated to the production and commercialization of excellent quality callas, contributes to the development of the country, benefiting the social, environmental and economic aspects of all the people involved in its activity.

Vision: CalaTica aims to be recognized for the high quality and commitment to our customers, to be at the level of new trends and needs of the market. Pretends to consolidate itself exporting calla lilies, assuming a high commitment of social and environmental responsibility, guaranteeing the welfare of the small local producer and the neighboring communities.
