Rio Tapezco was founded in 1988, in the beautiful lands of Zarcero, Alajuela, Costa Rica - Land of PEACE.

Since then, we have been expanding and producing a wide range of fresh cut flowers for export. The variety of climatic regions in Costa Rica gives Rio Tapezco optimum natural conditions for growing all our products like: Agapanthus, Ammi Majus, Astilbe, Birds of Paradise, Crocosmia, Delphinium, Gerberas, Gladiolus, Iris, Ornithogalum and Lilies.

The company contributes to national economy in the integration of the micro and small scale producers in an export culture. We are so proud to received the Costa Rican Chamber of Exporters award for distinguished efforts in agricultural export in 1996.
